Ukrainian Healthcare System
Webinar by Swecare
Swecare, within the project "Support to Sustainable Healthcare in Ukraine", cordially invites you to participate in the first webinar of our series.
Ukraine's health sector has taken substantial damage, with detrimental effect on the healthcare infrastructure and delivery, as well as significant impact on the population's health due to forgone care and heightened public health threats. Over the course of not years but decades, it is estimated that Ukraine will need $14.2 billion for the reconstruction and recovery of its healthcare.
This webinar offers insights into Ukraine’s health system and the electronic framework of public procurement as a crucial part of the ongoing healthcare reform. It will introduce you to the key stakeholders forming demand for medical products and regulating their use.
As a result, you will be better able to match your solution and knowledge to the needs of the Ukrainian healthcare system and become a part of the recovery process.
The agenda will include:
-
Nataliia Husak (Head of the National Health Service of Ukraine (NHSU)): Structure and organization of the healthcare system in Ukraine. The role of the NHSU in continuing the medical reform during the war.
-
Inna Ivanenko (Executive director of the CF Patients of Ukraine, ex-Head of the Public Control Council at the NHSU): The unique role of the Ukrainian public and patient community in the healthcare reform implementation and overall watchdog function performance.
-
Mykola Tkachenko (Director of Prozorro, the electronic system of public procurement): Government's transparency for Ukraine's victory.
